Quante calorie a colazione per iniziare con il piede giusto la giornata?
Da più fonti come siti web, programmi dedicati, specialisti dietologi, nutrizionisti, avrete sentito che la colazione è uno dei pasti più importanti della giornata. La colazione dovrebbe fornire il 20%-25% del nostro fabbisogno giornaliero di energia.
Purtroppo il ritmo della vita lavorativa quotidiana non ci permette di dedicare a questo importante pasto tutta l’attenzione che merita.
Tutt’oggi sono ancora molti gli italiani che fanno colazione con un semplice caffè o escono di casa senza prendere nulla.
Se per alcuni non fare colazione è conseguenza dello stile di vita frenetico, per altri è una errata scelta dietetica dettata dalla cattiva abitudine.
Saltare la colazione non aiuta a perdere peso, anzi, aumenta il senso dell’appetito.
Di conseguenza si corre il rischio di compensare con snack veloci ipercalorici durante lo spuntino di metà mattina o di abbondare nelle quantità del pranzo.
Quali sono le conseguenze di queste cattive abitudini?
Sfiniti e senza energie al mattino dopo una notte di digiuno, appesantiti e sonnolenti dopo pranzo, rendimento dell’intero organismo al di sotto delle sue potenzialità.
Ne derivano stress e problemi di umore che si accompagnano al senso di frustrazione legato all’aumento di peso evidenziato in maniera impietosa dalla bilancia di casa.
Fare una sana colazione aiuta ad iniziare bene la giornata, a tenere sotto controllo l’appetito e di conseguenza il peso, migliora il rendimento lavorativo e l’umore e di conseguenza ne beneficiano anche i rapporti con i colleghi.
Dopo questo lungo preambolo torniamo quindi alla nostra domanda iniziale:
Quante calorie a colazione?
Il fabbisogno energetico per un uomo adulto si aggira sulle 2000kcal mentre per una donna sulle 1800kcal. Questi valori possono variare in base all’età, al peso, all’altezza e all’attività fisica (se si conduce una vita sedentaria o sportiva).
Il calcolo è quindi una semplice proporzione pari al 20%-25% del fabbisogno giornaliero, quindi dalle 350 alle 500kcal.
Queste calorie possono essere introdotte tramite carboidrati complessi, proteine e vitamine nel giusto mix di cereali integrali o fette biscottate integrali, fiocchi di avena, latte o yogurt, frutta fresca o frutta secca, spremuta di agrumi, nelle dosi necessarie a costruire una colazione sana o colazione dietetica.
E’ importante che siano presenti tutte e tre le componenti (carboidrati, proteine, vitamine) e che non si abusi di un solo tipo di nutrimento.
La varietà è fondamentale per l’equilibrio dietetico ed è gradita al palato.
Bocciata è invece la classica colazione all’italiana da bar con brioche e cappuccino, poiché povera di alimenti freschi e vitamine.
In realtà sono molti gli esercenti che propongono ai loro clienti alternative salutiste e dietetiche. Per esempio brioche integrale, frullati di frutta fresca e perfino muesli con yogurt o il latte fresco. Queste colazioni sono meno veloci ma ugualmente gustose.
